Here Are All the Ways to Watch the ABC News Presidential Debate

Another presidential debate night is upon us, and this time we have a new face on the Democratic ticket facing off against a three-time GOP nominee. Vice President Kamala Harris will stand across from former President Donald Trump in Philadelphia during the ABC News Presidential Debate on Tuesday.

A lot has happened since CNN hosted its presidential debate nearly 11 weeks ago. After a disastrous performance, President Joe Biden stepped down following intense pressure from within his party, and Harris took his place as the Democratic presidential candidate. Meanwhile, Trump survived a near assassination attempt in July, right before the 2024 Republican National Convention.

Needless to say, it was a busy summer. Now, Harris and Trump are sharing the stage in the City of Brotherly Love for what may be the only debate during this presidential cycle. The ABC News debate will be an important test for both presidential candidates, particularly for Harris, who is seeking to define herself apart from President Biden.

World News Tonight anchor David Muir and ABC News Live Prime anchor Linsey Davis are the moderators this go-around. ABC News will air the debate at 9 p.m. ET across linear and digital platforms, including ABC, ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu. The main event will be preceded by a Race for the White House special, airing at 8 p.m. and anchored by Martha Raddatz, Jonathan Karl, Mary Bruce and Rachel Scott.

Like CNN, ABC News is making its debate available for other networks to simulcast. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the outlets carrying the debate at 9 p.m., as well their pre and post-debate coverage plans. (All times ET.)
